Utopian Literature
Utopia Literature is the third planned book of the 'Alternative Community Humanities Series,' which contains concerns for sustainable alternative community models and viable policy proposals. Utopian Literature was designed for the purpose of comprehensively examining the types and genealogy of'a fictional story that speaks of a utopia (utopia literature). This is the first attempt by a research team in Korea to draw a “world map of utopian literature” in earnest. This book encompasses non-Western and post-colonial utopian literature and feminist utopian literature, which form an important flow of modern utopian literature, from classical utopian literature originating in Thomas More in the 16th century to contemporary post-apocalyptic utopian literature.
